Algonquin has many different trails and options. This adventure will be customized depending on timeframe, and physical capabilities, and your appetite for adventure. You will be shown the best parts of Algonquin catered to your needs with your guide providing information about the history and background of this historic gem of Ontario. We will be stopping for lunch, stores, bakery, museums, art galleries and bathroom breaks as you need throughout the day.
Accessible Algonquin
This selection will be comprised of easy trails and boardwalks with accessibility in mind. Groomed and manicured trails that is suitable for all ages and capability.
Easy Algonquin
This selection will consist of a combination of easy trails with 1 moderate trail to a lookout (roughly 1 hour to complete lookout hike). Steep inclines to and from lookout. Hiking shoes are suggested. Hiking poles provided to assist for those who would like.
Moderate Algonquin
This selection will have more difficult trails, steeper inclines, potential for roots and rocks on the trail, a longer duration hike (max 3-4 hours), with lookouts and points of interest. Hiking poles provided to assist. Be prepared with hiking shoes. As with most trails, the more difficult, the better the payoff.
