As we are a hiking and outdoors company, there is an expectation of a basic level of physical fitness and ability. We do offer different levels of adventures, whether it is accessible, easy or moderate. This will allow you to choose what is appropriate for you. Please see breakdown and description of each adventure.
Camping trips will consist of day hikes and adventures. These will be a bit more physically demanding. Please be prepared.
We operate using a Sprinter Van that seats up to 9 passengers and transports all equipment. All seats have seatbelts. There are information books and local attraction brochures for enroute reading. The group can hook up to blue tooth for some music, or just chat and get to know one another; "whatever is clever". Ask questions as your guide will be full of information.
We do look to serve our half day and full day hikes from the Muskoka region indicated on the map, providing pick up service within the radius of the red line. This is to allow enough time for the adventure and additional stops. If you are outside of the indicated area, we can organize a pick up zone within this location or discuss.
For our overnight camping trips, we provide transportation from Barrie, Orillia, Gravenhurst and Bracebridge. We will pick you up and drop you off at a central location, example: Barrie Bus terminal, Orillia Square, Gravenhurst McDonalds and Bracebridge Walmart.

As our half day adventures operate normally 2 adventures in a day, we will be starting early morning or mid afternoon. We aim to pick you up between 8-9am for morning adventures and 2-3 for afternoon adventures.
Evening adventures such as Torrance Barrens will be dependent on the Season, but this will generally be pick up between 630-830 depending on your location and sun down.
For our overnight camping trips, we are going to start the day early, starting pick ups in Barrie at roughly 9am and heading north. We are going to be strict on pick up times as this will effect the rest of the days plans.
We are a year round operation. As the seasons change, so do our adventures. Such as hikes being replaced with snowshoeing during winter, Fall leaves tours in the Autumn, and a focus waterfalls during the spring.
Full day hikes to Algonquin will be suspended during the late fall to early spring.
We will be continuing to do camping trips for as long as the season allows.
We do encourage using the facilities before departure, but we will take a break whenever necessary. Most of the trail heads and hike areas will have facilities available. For camping trips, all provincial parks are equipped with bathrooms and outhouses. Also showers in many cases, not all.
As our business is unique and offers trips to specific locations, these adventures may be finished quicker or slower than what we have estimated for the half day and full day hikes. There are lots of areas along the way. We will try to round out our trips with points of interest, and quick stops so you can experience as much as possible.
Our hikes and trails have an average time for completion and this has been designed so that it keeps our half day adventures within time advertised. As each adventure has a main event, we will complete that, but amount of stops at points of interest along the way may be reduced depending on time.
Weather can be spontaneous in the Muskoka region. We suggest preparing for the worst and expecting the best. If we do encounter bad weather, normally, we just carry on as planned. We can discuss cancelling the trip if necessary do to dangerous weather, and provide full refund.
We will ask. Some people are here in Muskoka as solo, couples, and families. If you wish to keep your trip between you and yours, no problem. If you are open to having some new folk join in the trip, we will leave it open to see if any other people look to join. Meeting new people is one of the best parts of enjoying the outdoors.
If you are experiencing any Flu or Covid like symptoms, please advise us, and we may have to cancel your adventure depending on severity for the safety of us and other people in the party. You will receive a full refund.
During the adventure, it is your responsibility to advise your guide if you are experiencing unwellness, including but not limited to nausea and vomiting, shortness of breath, difficulty breathing, chest, arm, or back tightness or pain, dizziness, confusion, blurred vision, etc.
Advise your guide of any pertinent allergies or medical conditions that may unexpectedly occur during your adventure.
